Before
This kitchen in Aurora featured a high-counter island and tile backsplash. The space was already open and spacious and only needed some updates to give it a refreshed and modern feel.
We removed the existing countertops and backsplash, then we trimmed the high counter to accomodate a large, single level countertop.
After
The beautiful new island at regular counter height, was topped with a snow quartz counter that makes the space feel open and inviting. Then we installed a stainless steel under mount sink and modern brushed nickel faucet. The cabinets were painted in a fresh-linen color that resembles the color of the walls; and to preserve and enhance the island’s character, the original corbels were reinstalled and painted.
For the new backsplash, we used the same quartz as the countertops which gives the kitchen a bright and modern look. All appliances were replaced with a new stainless steel package, and a slide-in stove that accentuates the backsplash. Lastly, the new pendant light over the island adds the final touch that makes the entire space brilliant and elegant!
