Before
Built in the early 1950s, this neglected property was in a state of distress. The spacious yard, front and back, had numerous dying trees, junk, and debris. The aging fence was unsightly and barely functional.
The interior of the house had been deteriorated over time, and the old layout made it feel tight and enclosed.

Yard Renovation
We started with tree removal. The old trees were a safety hazard, as they would likely be blown over causing damages or even injury.
Then we removed all junk and debris from the property, several dumpsters full. We added a concrete patio and walkways, and also built new fences throughout the property.
We planted young trees to replace the old one we removed, and landscaped the entire yard.

Interior Renovation
The old kitchen was completely removed, as well as the wall between the kitchen and living room to open up the space.
To add more functional closets, we framed into the living room from the primary bedroom to add a walk in closet, then combined the old tiny closets into one for the second bedroom.
We installed new kitchen cabinets, built a peninsula and placed butcherblock countertops.
For the bathroom, all fixtures were replaced then we installed new tile floor and shower walls. We saved the existing bath tub and got it refinished.

Exterior Renovation
To the exterior of the house, we replaced the gutters, made some roof repairs, replaced some windows, and painted the whole house.

New Exterior
The yard was entirely landscaped with grass, bushes, trees, and gravel. A new privacy fence was built between properties, and a modern stained fence in the front and back.
On the exterior of the house, we painted the exposed cinder block and added a splash of color.

New Interior
The precious square footage of the home was efficiently redesigned to open up the main room and accommodate a modern kitchen. Washer and dryer hook-ups were integrated into the new kitchen for a space saving stackable set. Some of the living room space was sacrificed to add a desperate needed master closet, while the closet in the second bedroom doubled in size.
This is now a comfortable new home with style and functionality. It comes with smart new appliances, excellent lighting, and elegant features throughout the space.
